Profits support the community development work of the Greyston Foundation, which includes housing, child care, health care, a computer learning center, and more. In addition, the Bakery actively recruits and hires employees that have had difficulties finding employment in the past. Greyston Bakery partners and serves a network of other businesses, such as Ben & Jerry’s and Stonyfield Farms, who share social concerns.

- Top Chefs Soup features six delicious gourmet dried bean soup mixes whose recipes were created exclusively for the company by top Westchester chefs from renowned grocers in Westchester. The soups are located throughout supermarkets in Westchester and Manhattan. Top Chefs Harvest employees are homeless heads-of-households currently living in Westchester County. In their three months of paid work for Top Chefs Harvest they learn all aspects of the production process as well as the "soft skills" necessary to become responsible employees in the marketplace (e.g. teamwork, taking direction, punctuality). In addition, they are offered a wealth of pre-employment training for marketplace employment from Westhab's renowned Employment Services team.
